The homeowners have demanding professional careers and wanted their home to be a place of escape and recharge. The home was designed for privacy in the front, while the rear of the home intentionally opens up to embrace the rear yard as year round outdoor living space. Views in and through the house were carefully studied to stretch the perspective beyond; at any given vantage point one can see directly through the home directly outside. The home boasts unparalleled quality and craftsmanship, it has an open floorplan, floating staircase, European white oak floors, and sophisticated design elements throughout. Floor to ceiling pocket doors create seamless indoor-outdoor living. The homes design is distinctly modern while evoking classic mid-century lines.
