In 2005, Manish Desai founded Desai Architects, a design practice with an independent perspective and dedication to great design in everyday spaces. His clear vision and creative approach to architecture are evident in his early work at local design firms Morphosis and Belzberg Architects, and are carried forward into the firm's current body of work.

A Los Angeles native, Manish studied at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Working in Los Angeles for almost 20 years, he enjoys the variety of clients he is able to work with – on projects ranging from residential and hospitality to cultural and institutional. By focusing his practice around modern design, the work balances elegant minimalism with much-appreciated function.

When Manish is not busy "architecting" he enjoys music, sharing a meal with friends, coaching youth sports, and spending time with his wife and three children.
