Glendon

LOS ANGELES | Designed for GAIA Inc. | A sloping site, as well as pair of protected red tail hawks nesting in a eucalyptus on the site, dictated this home's unusual wedge shaped plan. The result is a open and dynamic house, that is actively engaged in the site - echoing Case Study houses of the past. This is carried through with full-height window walls and large sliding doors that encourage a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. Natural materials like burnt cedar siding and cast-in-place concrete walls serve as an anchor to the light and open structure of the home.
